Historical Museum of Crete Winter Opening Hours

From Monday November 1st, 2021 the winter opening hours of the Historical Museum of Crete apply:


November (1) 2021 - March (31) 2022
Monday - Friday 09:00-15:30
Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00


Sundays & Holidays: Closed


[HOLIDAYS: 25 December, 26 December, 1 January, Orthodox Easter Sunday, Orthodox Easter Monday]
 

Library
The Library is open to the public by appointment. Please contact us on: 2810-283219, ext. 110.


In accordance with current guidelines, visitors to the Museum must provide upon entry, together with their photo ID, (a) a vaccination certificate or (b) a recovery certificate from COVID-19 (valid for up to 6 months after diagnosis) or (c) a negative laboratory Rapid Test taken no more than 48 hours before your visit.
These requirements also apply to children aged 12 and over. Children aged 5 to 11 should provide a negative self-test certificate, carried out by the parent or guardian.


Admission
Adults: € 5.00
Concessions: Pupils and students, over 65s (on production of ID):
€ 3.00


Free Admission: Children 12 and under, unemployed (on production of ID), students of the University of Crete, the Technical University of Crete and the Hellenic Mediterranean University.


Access to the HMC Café and Shop is free during Museum opening hours.
