Congresses

The Society of Cretan Historical Studies (SCHS) is systematically involved in organizing conferences and events promoting scholarly discourse. Above all, however, the SCHS established the International Congresses of Cretan Studies (1961) as an institution that it has encouraged for decades. The Congresses have lent great impetus to Cretan Studies, and to this day serve as a cross-disciplinary forum of outstanding significance.
